Role Overview
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of our software applications. You’ll work closely with databases, server-side scripting languages, APIs, and server architecture to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. If you’re passionate about complex problem-solving and motivated by scale, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities
  • Participate in requirements analysis and planning.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and User Experience Designers to deliver exceptional features on time.
  • Contribute to community-driven decisions and shape technical roadmaps.
  • Develop, test, and maintain domain-specific solutions.
  • Engage in code reviews.
  • Mentor other engineers.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven work experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as PHP.
  • Working knowledge of CMS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with .NET.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
  • Knowledge of CI and CD pipeline creation.
  • Exposure to cloud environments.
